Thursday 23rd June 2016. Where are you gonna be? Some of you might find yourself sitting in a stifling hot hall, staring down at an exam paper. Others might be going mad in the mud in Somerset, and we bet the rest of you will be itching to hit the park if the sun’s high in the sky.
Back in the day (we’re talking way, way back), a powerful artistic statement often had to equate with hours, days, weeks, months, even years of commitment. Think about the mad heavy brushstrokes of a Da Vinci painting, or an epic poem, like John Milton’s Paradise Lost (yep, that A Level English reading list staple).
